Looking for the former HSBC Canada app?
Start with your current provider’s app information. HSBC Bank Canada was acquired by RBC in March 2024, so an old Canadian app listing or screenshot is not a reliable way to restore access today.
Use the bank’s own download links
RBC’s official mobile-app page links to its supported downloads and explains current features. Follow those links instead of choosing an app solely by its name, logo, ratings or an advertisement.

Check before installing
- Confirm that your account is with RBC or the particular provider whose app you are installing.
- Use the bank’s official website to reach the store listing, then check the publisher.
- Review current device and operating-system requirements and keep your device updated.
- Install through the official store; do not install an emailed app package or grant remote access to someone claiming to fix your bank login.
A new phone is a separate access question
The bank may ask you to verify a new device before enabling access. Follow its current process and use official support if your old number or phone is unavailable. Do not share a one-time verification code with another person, including someone contacting you about an old migration.
What about overseas HSBC accounts?
A similarly named app for another country may serve a different account and jurisdiction. Confirm the country, provider and product with that institution. The Canadian acquisition does not tell this guide which overseas app or login applies to you.
