    • RBC Client Card or credit card number
    • Postal code and date of birth for verification
    • Email address and mobile phone number
    • Access to the RBC Online Banking enrolment page or RBC Mobile app

    Step‑by‑Step

    1. Go to RBC Online Banking: Navigate to RBC Online Banking or open the RBC Mobile app.

    3. Create Credentials: Follow prompts to choose a secure username and password. Use a unique password and never reuse credentials from other sites.
    4. Verify Your Identity: You may be asked security questions or to enter a verification code sent to your email or phone.
    5. Enable Two‑Step Verification: Turn on 2‑Step Verification in the Security Centre. RBC will send a push notification or code to your trusted device whenever someone tries to sign in from a new device.
    6. Set Up Interac e‑Transfer: Add your email and mobile number to send and receive money securely.
    7. Deposit Cheques: In the mobile app, select "Deposit," enter the amount and photograph the front and back of your cheque.
    8. Manage Your Account: Use the dashboard to check balances, pay bills, transfer funds and add payees.
    9. Log Out Securely: Always sign out and close your browser or app when finished, especially on shared devices.

    Troubleshooting

    • Forgot Password: Click "Forgot Password?" on the sign‑in page and follow the prompts to reset it.
    • Locked Account: Too many failed attempts can lock your account. Call RBC Online Banking support at 1‑800‑769‑2511 for assistance.
    • No Verification Code: If you don't receive a 2FA code, check your spam folder or ensure your phone number is correct. You can also use the RBC Secure Key app.
    • Mobile Deposit Issues: Ensure there is good lighting and the cheque is on a dark background; retake the photo.
